The core game mechanics in Everyday Heroes are based on 5e, the most popular and well-supported tabletop RPG system in the world today. Finding other players and jumping into Everyday Heroes is relatively quick and easy. That said, Everyday Heroes is not just a copy of 5e rules: it has many design innovations that make it unique and extra-fun to play.
We knew that we would be supporting a wide range of settings in which not every rule makes sense. Consequently, we designed Everyday Heroes to be an adaptable and modular roleplaying system. You can easily import components from, or use Everyday Heroes content in, your other 5e games.
Our Free Rules are a great place to start learning Everyday Heroes, since they lay out the game’s basic framework and options for making modern heroes. The Everyday Heroes Core Rulebook presents a deluxe, action-genre version of the game. And the Vault and our Bonus Features present you with a myriad of extended rules and options. Together, these resources give you a vast set of tools for bringing practically any game world that you can imagine to life.
